Pandamania Slot Review
Pandamania is a NextGen Gaming-powered slot game with 5 reels and 25 paylines. Available on mobile and tablet devices, you can play from 25p a spin to £50 a spin. Anyway, you will see playful pandas go into a frenzy in this wacky adventure. It has 3 bonus features and is full of sugar fuelled fun (apparently).
On to the features now – first up is the Panda Escape Bonus feature where an escaped Panda can appear at any time and subsequently turning symbols into wilds. This applies randomly in both the base game and Free Games feature. The latter can be played when you get 3 or more scattered Pandamania symbols anywhere on the reels.
You will be granted 10 free spins with all wins doubled (2x multiplier). The good thing is that you can retrigger the feature meaning there’s up to 20 free spins available. More importantly, the Panda Escape Bonus feature occurs more frequently in the free spins feature which is good.
Lastly, you have the Pick Me Bonus feature when the Pick Me symbols appears on reels 2, 3 and 4 simultaneously. You will then simply need to pick 1 of the pick me symbols to win either a cash prize, cash prize plus pick again (2 cash prizes) or win all (3 cash prizes). Don’t expect a lot as the maximum that can be won is just 30 times your stake. However, if you trigger this during the free games feature, all prizes are subject to a 2x multiplier giving you the potential to win up to 60 times your stake.
Pandamania is a fun slot but the free spins feature can be a tad boring unless you get plenty of random wilds – saying that, the most I’ve won is 152 times my stake which is decent I suppose. However, don’t expect more than 20-25 times your stake in the free spins feature though. It’s a decent game though even though I prefer something a little more volatile – namely NextGen Gaming’s flagship game 300 Shields (which is very high variance!). If pandas are your thing, there’s Wild Panda by Aristocrat.
