Neopolis is powered by NextGen Gaming and has 5 reels and 25 paylines. You can spin away from 25p to £50 a spin and it has a space/Jetson type theme. The reels look quite retro with classic symbols like diamonds, grapes, lemons, 7s and oranges on the reels. The soundtrack is definitely unique with rock music blaring out as you’re about the trigger the main bonus feature.

You have the Extra Wild Bonus feature where the girl can appear randomly at any time – she will turn symbols into wilds basically. This feature plays out in the base game but is more frequently triggered in the Free Games feature.

Then you have the Neopolis Bonus features which are played when you get 3 car Bonus symbols on reels 2, 3 and 4 simultaneously. One of the following 4 bonus features is then chosen to be played:

Couples Bonus feature – you pick 8 from 12 TV screens. If you match a pair, you will get the prize on offer. There’s up to 45 times your stake to be won here.

Roulette Bonus feature – cells are lit in a circular motion where you win the amount in the landing cell. If you land an amount with an arrow lit, a multiplier is revealed which is then applied to your winnings.

City Bonus feature – you will see 9 areas where you make picks until you reveal Stop, Stop x2 (where you win twice the amount shown) or Stop x3 (where you win triple the amount shown).

Robot Factory feature – win amounts are revealed and then hidden from sight. The robots are then shuffled – you need to simply choose one to reveal your cash prize. I’ve only managed to win 10 times my amount here.

The main attraction is the Free Games feature – you are awarded 10 free spins when 3 or more Logo symbols land anywhere on the reels. As mentioned, the Extra Wild Bonus feature occurs a lot more here which can really boost your win potential. You can also trigger more free spins (so up to 20 available) as well as trigger the Neopolis Bonus features.

Neopolis is a low to medium variance slot in my opinion with the bigger wins coming in the free spins feature. I found the game a little annoying to be honest with smaller wins in general. I much prefer other NextGen Gaming slots such as Witch Pickings or Cash Stampede which are higher variance and have better themes.
