Justice League is a 5 reel, 25 payline slot powered by NextGen Gaming – it’s the first DC Comics game that they have released and it’s an epic one. Playable on desktop, mobile and tablet devices from 30p to £60 per spin, there’s quite a few bonus features to benefit from.

Visually, it has a comic book feel and symbols on the reels include Superman, Green Lantern, The Flash, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Cyborg. Superman is the highest value symbol rewarding you with 10 times your stake if you manage to get 5 on a payline.

When it comes to bonus features, Justice League has plenty – you have the Team Rescue feature in the base game where a symbol can randomly transform into wilds on the 3 middle reels.

There is also a Super Hero Power-Up feature which is played when the same Super Hero symbol takes up all positions on reel 1 and at least 1 of these Super Hero symbols appears in a line win. Reel 5 then duplicated Reel 1 with all Super Hero and wild symbol locked in place – all remaining reels then re-spin. You will continue to get re-spins until no more Super Hero or wild symbols appear.

You have the Attack on Metropolis feature which is played when 3 or more Daily Planet Bonus symbols appear anywhere on the reels – you will receive 10 free spins. More random wilds appear than in the base game with more free spins randomly awarded – up to 3 extra free spins can be awarded after a non-winning spin.

Finally, look out for wilds as these are collected in the Charge Meter to give you more Super Hero Spins – which take place after the free spins have finished. Both reels 1 and 5 will reveal the same Super Hero symbol in all positions. Furthermore, all wins involving a wild symbol are randomly subject to a multiplier of up to 10x! If you get a non-winning Super Spin, you can get 1 more Super Hero spin to help you.

It may sound like there’s a lot going on in Justice League but it’s quite a simple game once you get spinning – I particularly like the Super Hero Spins feature which plays out after the Attack on Metropolis feature. Having wins multiplied by up to 10 can be extremely lucrative as you can imagine. The variance is medium to high and it has a nostalgic feel which I quite like. I also recommend you play the other NextGen Gaming-powered super hero slots such as Batman.
