Visually, 300 Shields Extreme is almost identical to the original, 300 Shields – it does have improved graphics and animations though. Set on a rural hillside with temples in the backdrop, it has a calm feel to it. Symbols on the reels Spartan style A, K, Q, J, 10 and 9 royals as well as arrows, swords, ships and fighters. The Warrior is the wild symbol and substitutes for all symbols bar the scatter – 5 on a payline will reward you 40 times your total stake.
The most important symbol is the shield scatter – 2, 3, 4 or 5 on a payline will give you 2, 5, 12 or 100 times your stake. 3 or more though will trigger the Battle feature where you’ll begin with 5 free spins – now, any winning combination involving the Warrior wild will apply a 2x multiplier to your winnings.
They key in the Battle feature is to collect shield scatters as these will reward you with more free spins as well as increased Warrior wild multipliers up to 300x:
- Collect 2 or more shields to get 2nd set of 5 free spins with Warrior wild wins subject to a 5x multiplier
- Collect 6 or more shields to get 3rd set of 5 free spins with all Warrior wild wins subject to a 25x multiplier
