Wild Water Slot Review
Wild Water a medium variance Net Entertainment video slot that has 5 reels and 20 paylines. Playable from 20p to £100 a spin, it has a 60s beach theme as you will see surfers, palm trees and a hippie camper van. The soundtrack is a little reminiscent of the Beach Boys with the sounds used being a little bit cheesy in my opinion.
There are stacked surfer symbols which appear in the base game with 5 surfers used. That said, you can trigger 2 cash bonus features in the base game with the 5 surfer symbols. You can win 20 times your stake in the Surf’s Up Bonus feature when any combination of 5 surfer symbols covers the 5 reels.
However, the Surf Team Bonus feature is more lucrative as you can win a cool 200 times your stake – you need to get all 5 different stacked surfer symbols to cover all 5 reels. This won’t be triggered very often naturally but I triggered it 3 times in my sitting playing Wild Water.
The best bonus feature by a mile is the Free Spins feature – you can activate this when obtaining 3 or more Surfer scatter symbols anywhere on the reels (it’s a single surfer symbol by the way). 3 symbols will reward you with 15 free spins, 4 symbols with 30 free spins and 5 symbols with a generous 60 free spins.
What makes this feature so appealing is the Shark wild symbol – when it appears and is part of a winning combination, it will expand and make the whole reel wild! I managed to get 3 wild reels on 4 free spins and won over 240 times my stake when I first triggered the Free Spins feature.
There is up to 2,000 times your stake there to be won so I’m pretty sure the big wins will come in the Free Spins feature. I find the theme to be a little cheesy (as mentioned) with the sounds not being the greatest (when you have a win, you will hear words like ‘awesome’, ‘radical’ and ‘cowabunga’). If you can overhear that, Wild Water is a very good slot which can really reward you in the Free Spins
