The usual Space Wars cast of characters is present and correct in this latest instalment of the popular sci-fi series. NetEnt has shaken up the gameplay courtesy of the Megaways game engine. It’s a pretty standard offering as far as Megaways slot goes. There aren’t any expanding multipliers or other modifiers to spice up the action. What you see is what you get here.

It’s a similar story with the XXXtreme Spins. The only addition is the minimum number of Megaways rising to 10,000 or 50,000.

I really liked the design though. The visuals are nice and crisp and the spaceship against the neon space backdrop works very nicely. As does the rather eerie soundtrack.

The Space Wars Megaways RTP of 96.14% is lower than the 96.75% in the original Space Wars release. The maximum win of 14,400 x stake is much higher than the 1,000 x stake though.

If you like your Megaways action to come with plenty of variety, this might be a little on the vanilla side for you. For a simple blast of sci-fi action, Space Wars Megaways XXXtreme does the job perfectly well.
