South Park Slot Review

South Park is a Net Entertainment-powered video slot with 5 reels and 25 paylines. The game is based on the adult animated sitcom which is famous for its rude language and dark, surreal humour. The sitcom is based on 4 boys (Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny) and their adventures in the fictional town of South Park. The slot version has a bonus feature for each character and well as 3 mini-features. You can play from 25p a spin to £125 a spin.

Onto the bonus features, I will start with the character specific ones. You can gain access to the 4 character features by getting 2 regular Bonus symbols on reels 3 and 4 with 1 character Bonus symbol on reel 5. The relevant character Bonus symbol will trigger the appropriate character bonus feature. I will look at them in order to value.

Firstly there is the Stan Bonus Spins feature which really gives you the South Park experience as Stan pukes on Wendy to give you sticky wilds. When the feature begins, a Sticky Wild symbol appears in the middle of reel 3 and remains for 2 free spins. You can get various sticky wilds but the maximum win is a mere 30 times your stake (up to £3,750) – very poor indeed.

In the Kyle Bonus Spins feature, you will begin with 10 free spins. Look out for the Ike (baby) wild on reel 5 – Kyle will kick Ike into touch to bounce onto 1 of the 5 prizes shown below the reels. These include a 2x multiplier, 10x multiplier, 50 coin cash prize, 500 coin cash prize or +3 free spins. So technically you could get an extra 3 free spins per free spins that plays out giving you unlimited free spins. Alternatively, you could get a 10x multiplier on every free spin (if it was only that simple!). The returns in this feature are average with a maximum win being 300 times your stake (up to £37,500).

Then you have the Kenny Bonus feature where you begin with 3 lives. Your aim is to guide Kenny though the 3 different zones (Win Zone, Multiplier Zone and Danger Zone). The Win Zone contains cash prizes, the Danger Zone contains 1 trap and cash prizes and the Multiplier Zone contains multiplier values. You need to choose 1 of the 3 highlighted options for Kenny. The feature will end when Kenny runs out of lives or reaches the last zone. If you reach the end, you will win 2,500 coins (maximum of £1,250) and the win potential is a nice 556 times your stake (up to £69,500).

Finally, there is the Cartman Bonus feature where Cartman searches in the bushes for his sworn enemies (hippies). You need to choose from the 8 bushes to reveal cash prizes, 2x multiplier, a Bonus Game reset symbol, Warning symbol and Game Over symbol. You need to avoid disturbing the police officer twice though as this will end the feature. This is the most lucrative feature potentially with a massive 5,000 times your stake on offer (up to £625,000 at maximum bet).

Then you have the mini-features which are based on wilds and triggered at random – starting with the Terrance and Phillip Mini feature, 3 wilds are randomly placed anywhere on reels 2, 3 and 4. Then there s the Mr Hankey Mini feature where between 3 and 5 wilds are distributed on reels 1, 3 and 5.

My favourite is the Cartman Min feature as it’s the most rewarding potentially. A 3×3 block of wilds (known as the Beefcake Wild) appears on reels 2, 3 and 4. It can take over the 3 middle reels entirely, 1 row or 2 rows – just hope the Beefcake Wild takes over the reels entirely for a big win!

The South Park slot game in an entertaining one for sure – you will enjoy it if you’re a fan of the sitcom (which I am). However, I found frequent but small wins quite frustrating but will continue playing it for the Kenny and Cartman Bonus features as this is where the big wins will come from. If you’ve got the patience and really like South Park, this could easily become your new favourite slot. If not, you might tired pretty quickly.
