Neon Staxx Slot Review
Neon Staxx is a 5 reel, 4 row, and 40 payline video slot powered by Net Entertainment. Playable from 20p to £100 per spin, it has a retro style as it’s set in the wild 80’s – it has neon colours and synthesizer music to add to the ambience. Like the popular Starburst, the gameplay is intense and fast paced.
This game is all about the SuperStaxx feature which is a stack of symbol that appears on the reels. These stacked symbols can show up on any of the reels in both the base game and Free Spins feature. Anyway, all 5 reels have a number of adjacent positions that are randomly replaced with 1 symbol (except the scatter) for every single spin. This symbol (which is randomly chosen), will be presented in stacks at the beginning of each new spin.
There is also a Free Spins feature which is triggered when you get 3 or more scatter symbols (a triangle) anywhere on the reels. 3 will give you 10 free spins, 4 will give you 15 free spins and 5 will grant you 20 free spins. Now, only the Predator or Wild symbols will be selected as the stacked symbol in the feature which can really help. The downside is that you cannot trigger more free spins.
I found Neon Staxx to be quite exciting – the maximum amount you can win is just 400 times your stake which can be achieved in both the base game and Free Spins feature. It’s a low to medium variance slot in my opinion and not as hard hitting as Starburst, Twin Spin or Vegas Party (LeoVegas Casino’s exclusive Twin Spin clone).
Neon Staxx is also available to play on mobile and tablet devices which is good but the 4 rows do looks a little odd on an iPhone. It’s an entertaining game for sure and one that I’m sure players will look due to the cool theme and the SuperStaxx feature.
