Lost Island Slot Review
Lost Island is a Net Entertainment-powered video slot with 5 reels and 20 paylines. You will see crystal-clear lagoons and green valleys in this mystical-themed game which tells a tale of immortal life. You can play from as little as 20p to as much as £100 a spin.
You will see a Wild Multiplier meter at the top right-corner of the reels – this comes into play when wilds appear on the reels. If you have 1 wild symbol, you will get a 1x multiplier. If you get 3 wild symbols and if you get a winning combination, your win will be subject to a 3x multiplier. This means you can get up to a 5x multiplier applied to your winning spins when you have a wild!
I quite like the Free Spins feature which is activated when you obtain 3 or more scatter symbols (they say scatter on them) anywhere on the reels. You will receive between 10 and 30 free spins initially (3 scatters = 10 free spins, 4 scatters = 20 free spins and 5 scatters = 30 free spins). You have the possibility to trigger more free spins for every 3 (or more) scatters you get during the feature.
The Wild Multiplier feature also applies in the feature which can give you up to a 5x multiplier on every free spin. On top of this, a wild symbol is place in the middle row of reel 3 and will remain stuck for the duration of the entire free spins feature. Wild symbols can appear as stacked of 2 or 3 symbols to give you even bigger wins.
I found Lost Island to be quite a good game – the wins for the Wild Multiplier feature can be big if you get 4 or 5 wilds. I managed to win just over 100 times my stake on a few occasions now. The bigger wins tend to come in the Free Spins feature as you have 1 guaranteed wild as well as stacked wilds.
My best return yet was just under 300 times my stake. I did find it quite hard to trigger the Free Spins feature so I could class this game as a medium variance slot. If you like mystical-themed titles, NextGen Gaming’s Spin Sorceress is a good option.
