Walking Multiplier Wild feature

Knight Rider Review Summary – great if you’re of a certain age

The Knight Rider slot is quite similar to Drive: Multiplier Mayhem (NetEnt) where there are multiplier wilds on each reel up to 5x. However, the source material is much better and bound to appeal to many of a certain age (35+).

Well designed, if you’ve ever watched the TV series, you’ll like Knight Rider. From a nostalgic point of view, it has footage from the series, the famous theme tune and all the characters. Multiplier wilds are always welcome and they can lead to big wins in the free spins due to up to 3 being added on every free spin. You need them to appear across a number of paylines to land the big payouts.

Being a branded slot game, it ticks all the boxes graphically. With 7,000 x stake max wins, it offers decent wins. However, slots like The Goonies Return (Blueprint Gaming) and Ghostbusters Plus (IGT) offer 50,000 and 25,000 x stake max wins (respectively) as well a slice of 80s nostalgia.

Overall, Knight Rider is a decent slot from NetEnt. Aimed at players of a certain age, the gameplay could be better. This could have been achieved with big multiplier values which could lead to much bigger top figure payouts. I personally will stick with favourites like Dead or Alive 2 or Starburst XXXtreme.
