Berryburst MAX is the ‘MAX’ version of Berryburst and is powered by Net Entertainment. It looks exactly the same it’s the regular version but is more catered to players looking for bigger wins and more volatility. With 5 reels and using the Cluster Pays game engine, you can spin away from 10p to £200 a spin across all devices. It offers you wins of up to 6,000 times your stake from the re-spins!

Berryburst MAX is the same as the regular Berryburst in terms of appearance – based on an ice cold fruit drink, its colourful and has a summer vibe about it. The soundtrack is pretty cool too. On the reels you will see hearts, spades and diamonds that appear within their own bubbles – you’ll also see fruits such as limes, berries, orange slices and raspberries.

In order to win, you need to get clusters of 5 or more symbols – now, the difference between Berryburst and Berryburst MAX is the value of the symbols. If you were to take the hearts and spades – 5 in a cluster will give you 0.5 of your stake in the regular version whilst it’s 1 times your stake in the MAX version.

The most noticeable differences are from the orange slices and raspberries – getting 15 on the reels will give you 500 and 1,000 times your stake as opposed to 300 and 500 times your stake (for the regular version).

When it comes to bonus features, Berryburst MAX uses the same Re-Spin feature found in Berryburst – look out for the ice cube wild symbol which can appear on all reels. Performing the usual duties like replacing all symbols, the ice cube wild expands to take over its reel.

It then remains locked in position with a free re-spin awarded – the other reels will respin. If another wild symbol appears, you’ll be awarded another re-spin. You could get 5 wild reels if you’re lucky which can lead to wins of 6,000 times your total stake – in the regular Berryburst version, the maximum win was 1,868 times your stake. This is because the value of the higher paying symbols has increased dramatically.

I quite like Berryburst but I prefer Berryburst MAX – that’s because the win potential is more than 3 times higher! It’s obviously more volatile but I can live with that. The key to winning big is to get plenty of wild reels in the Re-Spin feature with the higher paying symbols.
