So Many Monsters Slot Review

So Many Monsters is a 5 reel 25 payline video slot powered by the impressive Microgaming. You can play from just 25p a spin to as much as £100 a spin. This game has been launched with 2 other which are identical in functionality but differ in appearance and theme (So Much Sushi and So Much Candy). I like the monsters version as the cheeky critters appeal to me the most – look out for Frogmosher, Eyez, Squideye, Baxter and RavtonStein.

If you have a winning combination involving 3 or more identical monster symbols, you will trigger the Many More Monsters Bonus feature. Each monster on an activated symbol can split up to 5 times giving you a better chance of winning bigger. If you’re lucky, you can get a 25 symbol winning combination!

This feature also applies in the Free Spins Bonus feature which is triggered when you get 3 or more eyeball symbols anywhere across the reels. Here you will come across the 5 monsters – each monster represents a different number of free spins. However, the less free spins you choose, the bigger your potential win can be.

Choosing more free spins will lower your potential win. I would go for 8 free spins as you can win a huge £32,000 per payline based on a £2.50 spin. It’s up to you really – I like higher variance slots such as Immortal Romance so would always go for the biggest winning potential in terms of amount. Anyway, the monster you choose will replace all the other monsters during the feature and you can reactive free spins by getting 3 Eyeball symbols.

I found So Many Monsters to be a medium variance game – its not that easy to trigger the free spins feature but the wait is mostly worth it. I’ve chosen the lower free spins amount with the bigger amount potential win and won over 200 times my stake last time out. On average, I’ve won between 50 and 80 times my stake (that’s choosing Frogmosher). It’s not my favourite Microgaming slot (check out Jurassic Park which is excellent) but not a bad one either.
