Like many titles from the Lightning Box Games stables, Moon Temple doesn’t look like a common or garden online slot – there are 6 reels for starters, appearing in a 3x4x5x5x4x3 set up. That all adds up to 80 paylines so there’s a steady flow of action.
Set against a stone, temple structure, the reels include playing card symbols from Q to 9 as well as brightly coloured ceremonial necklaces, black panthers, lizards and butterflies. The wild-haired priestess is the wild – she substitutes for everything bar the scatter and will give you 1,250 coins for a 6 symbol combo.
When the lightning strikes and you land at least 3 of the scatter symbol, you’ll trigger the feature. It’s a two-part bonus round where you’ll be awarded an initial 8 free spins (known as the Collection Game). There’s plenty of scope to add to this relatively meagre number though.

Moon Temple isn’t a particularly volatile slot with the variance on the low side of medium. It’s easy on the eye and certainly not as complex as some of Lightning Box’s other titles. The bonus feature is a good one though – what looks a first like a bit of a stingy offer, can soon develop into something decent.
If you’re lucky enough to find some extra spins and combine the two Moon Spin wilds, then this lunar slot can deliver some heavenly results.
