Wheel of Fortune Megaways Verdict – Decent effort for IGT’s debut Megaways slot
The Wheel of Fortune Megaways version works well though. The gameplay is actually pretty straightforward for a game with this mechanic. The Wild Megastacks can get things moving nicely and the Free Spins feature can be a cracker thanks to the potentially enormous number of Megaways.
However, it does lack the wow factor and many of the bonus features that have made Megaways slots so popular in recent times. Whilst spinning the Wheel of Fortune to determine your starting Megaways is a nice addition, there are no multipliers or any innovations.
It does offer wild reels and more ways to win with Expansion symbols. As a result, the win potential rockets with a whopping 82,700 x your total stake available on each free spin.
There are other games that offer 1 million Megaways such as Spartacus Megaways from WMS and 1 Million Megaways BC from Iron Dog Studio. Overall, I’d rate Wheel of Fortune Megaways as the best release in IGT’s TV gameshow series. On a Megaways note, it doesn’t offer anything we haven’t come across before, unfortunately.
