Nordic Heroes is an IGT-powered slot game which has 5 reels and 30 paylines. Playable from 30p to £600 a spin, it can be played on desktop, mobile and tablet devices. This game takes you on an amazing adventure of fortune where you can play as Thora who is a skilled elf archer.
Firstly, on to the base game – on any spin that doesn’t trigger the bonus feature, a multiplier reel appears and spins to reveal a multiplier ranging from 2x to 30x! The more levels you unlock (see below), the higher the multipliers on offer. This is known as the Mystery Multiplier feature.
It’s a Level Up Plus game, like the retired Monopoly Plus, which offers you unlockable content and payback-enhancing features – there are 7 levels and 4 achievements to master. You have the Level Up Plus feature where you can choose from 2 characters: Thora or Ragnar. Ragnar unlocks at level 3 with unique weapons for each character.

The Battle Bonus feature is triggered when you get the Battle bonus symbol simultaneously on reels 1, 3 and 5 – free spins will then play out as long as your character has health. After each free spin, the battle reels spin for the character and current monster – if you manage to defeat all 3 monsters, you will earn 1, 2, 5 or 10 Victory Spin.

Nordic Heroes has some similarities to Dungeons & Dragons Treasure of Icewind Dale in terms of imagery/theme but is a low to medium variance title. Saying that, there’s still over 416 times your stake to be won on every single spin.
