As you may have expected by now, Ghostbusters Triple Slime is based on the classic film of the same name. It’s the sequel to IGT’s Ghostbuster slot and the visuals in this movie themed slot are superb. The reels hang against a dimly lit New York street, we’re pretty sure there’s something strange going on in this neighbourhood!

On the reels, high paying symbols include the full Ghostbusters team, Egon Spengler (Harold Ramis), Peter Venkman (Bill Murray) and Ray Stantz (Dan Aykroyd). Triple Slime Scatter Bonus Feature

The Triple Slime Bonus feature begins when you land 3 or more Ghost Trap scatter symbols anywhere on the reels. You’re then transported to a new screen with 12 ghosts displayed.

To begin, you must select a number of ghosts equal to the number of bonus symbols collected to trigger the round. So, for example, if you triggered the Triple Slime Bonus with 4 scatters, you can choose 4 ghosts.

Each ghost awards a pointer for either the purple, green or red wheel. If more than 3 pointers of any 1 colour are picked, you’ll also gain a fixed prize:

The Ghostbusters Triple Slime slot will definitely appeal to you if you’re a fan of 80’s movie. The visuals are super and include everything we loved from the original film. It’s great to see our favourite eccentric parapsychologists on the reels, along with all the classic creatures in the bonus rounds. Whilst the slot might look slightly dated to younger players (perhaps those who only know the female-led reboot), we found it charming and sentimental.

In terms of gameplay, we were disappointed by the lack of Free Spins, though the 2 bonus features can prove quite lucrative. We found the Triple Slime Bonus feature the most rewarding, and this also offers you the best chance at claiming those 2,919 x bet max wins.

Lastly, the Ghostbusters Triple Slime slot isn’t as volatile as other MultiWay Xtra slots from IGT (such as Siberian Storm). This is great news for novice players who just want to enjoy the branded details, but it might leave some players underwhelmed. We recommend giving this slot a go if you love the theme – there’s some decent wins to be had, but it’s nostalgia that will keep you spinning.
