Crown of Egypt Slot Review

Crown of Egypt is an IGT video slot with 40 paylines plus 1,024 ways to win. You can play all 40 paylines and the 1,024 ways to win which will use 80 coins. This means it has 20 independent reels per say. It has an Ancient Egyptian theme and comes with a 5,000 coin jackpot. You can play from 80p a spin up to £400 a spin (all 40 paylines plus 1,024 ways to win).

The game uses MultiWay Xtra wagering which means there are 1,024 ways to win on every spin. MultiWay Xtra symbols award pay for matching symbols in any position is adjacent columns starting from the left. Anyway, the mean feature is the Free Spins Bonus feature.

The Free Spins Bonus feature is triggered by getting 2 or more Bonus Pyramid symbols in the middle reel. You will be awarded with 10 to 20 free spins depending on how many Bonus symbols you get to trigger the feature (2 to 4). You can also trigger up to 20 additional free spins if you get more Bonus symbols on the middle reel with a maximum of 130 free spins on offer. The free spins game also has richer reels than in the base game.

Whilst this may sound like a bog standard slot game, the potential for many free spins makes it appealing. However, I found the wins to be on the lower side meaning that I’d rather play IGT’s other Egyptian-themed slot Pharaoh’s Fortune or the classic Cleopatra II.
