There’s no audio unless you spin the reels. When you hit the spin button, the soundtrack used doesn’t really match up with the theme. It’s got more of a classic video slot sound, which makes sense considering it’s a very popular land-based game. The sound effects of the animals when different wins appear are a nice touch. On the reels, the A-J Royals make up the lower-paying symbols. The higher-paying symbols include different types of large cats – cougars, leopards, tigers, lions and panthers. The Cats slot game from IGT is an absolute classic from the land-based scene and very much enjoyed by online players too. The visuals, the audio, and the gameplay are very basic, but that’s what makes it a classic. There’s nothing complicated here, and many players enjoy that. The RTP rate is on the low side compared to a lot of newer online slots on the market, but the medium to low volatility and the 2,500 x max wins help cushion that RTP blow.
