The holy grail is the wild. This can land on all 5 reels and substitute for all the standard symbols. Merlin the Wizard is the game’s bonus symbol. Land 3 or more of these to trigger the bonus feature.

Arthur Pendragon Review Summary – top design but low max win potential

The design in this virtual trip to Camelot Castle is superbly done. The gameplay in the Arthur Pendragon slot stacks up pretty well too. The blocks of 10 spins with wilds added on the last of them always maintains a decent level of interest. Wilds are central to the free spins round too. It’s a decent package overall.

What is slightly underwhelming is the maximum potential win of just 200 x stake. This is just unacceptable to most players with 500 x stake the absolute minimum in my opinion.

I would much rather play Skeleton Key (also by IGT) which comes with potential wins of 83,333 x stake. Another option is the land-based favourite Cleopatra which offers 10,000 x stake payouts. If you want a similar theme, The Green Knight from Play ‘n GO offers 10,000 x stake wins as well as better bonus features.
