The sound and visuals on show in Hoot Loot are well done – the action is punctuated by a series of animations and the soundtrack has a certain rustic charm. The gameplay doesn’t quite hit those heights though. The features are fine but the lack of free spins is a little disappointing.

That said, if you manage to get the Hoot Line filled the payouts can impress with amounts of loot to really get you hooting. It’s a low to medium variance game in my opinion, and despite being different from other High5 Games slots, it’s not one I will play.
