Theme – head to a long lost Mayan city in search of treasures

With a Mayan theme, the Mayan Stackways slot takes you a long lost Mayan city as you tread into the mysterious ruins where terrors and treasures await. Loosely based El Mirador, which is the Lost City of the Maya, this dark game looks superb.

Set deep in the jungle, you’ll see a zombie Mayan chief to the side of the reels. He moves and clicks his teeth in line with the soundtrack. The reels appear within carved stone statues. Known as the Stackways feature, the stacked symbol is chosen based on what symbol would create the longest winning way among the symbols present on the reels. If several symbols can do this, a random symbol is chosen. The stacking only happens when the result of the stacking would create a winning outcome.

Stack Spins feature

The Mayan Stackways slot comes with a Stack Spins feature. This is triggered by landing 3 Skull Scatter symbols simultaneously on a base game spin. 10 free spins will then be awarded. Their first venture into Mayan territory, the Mayan Stackways slot looks typically like a Hacksaw Gaming production. Superbly designed, the zombie Mayan chief clicking his teeth is quite creepy and adds to the atmosphere. The brightly-lit symbols against the dark stone slabs they appear on provides a nice contrast.
