Keep ‘Em uses a 6-reel, 5 row engine which offers 15,625 ways to win. Create winning combinations by landing 3, 4, 5 or 6 matching symbols on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost reel.

Theme: classy cartoon visuals with a vintage touch

Like the other slots starring Canny the Can, there’s a rather vintage feel to the design in Keep ‘Em. Canny and Buddy are enjoying a walk in the woods.

The reels are made up of A to J royal ranks which appear alongside cartoon drawings of a severed snake head, a lightning bolt, a rather startled looking skull and Buddy the Bird. There are also Get ‘Em and Keep ‘Em symbols which can deliver instant win prizes. Finally, there’s the FS scatter which can trigger the Free Spin bonuses.

I really liked Keep ‘Em. The retro visuals are tastefully done and the soundtrack bounces along amiably. The features stack up nicely too, offering plenty of variety. The medium volatility means that I wasn’t waiting seemingly forever form something to happen either.

The Cash ‘Em prizes and Keep ‘Em Re-spins come along regularly. The standard Keep ‘Em Coming free spins landed often too. I found the other 2 bonuses much harder to trigger though.

The cartoonish style might not be to all tastes. With more and more slots courting controversy with ever more extreme themes, it’s quite nice to come across something as light-hearted as Keep ‘Em.
