Jelly Slice Slot RTP, Details & Wager Limits
Reels/Paylines: 5 reels + 1,024 paylines
Stakes Range: 10p to £100 per spin
RTP: 96.24% | 94.32% | 92.30%
Max Win: 10,000 x bet
Standard base game spins play out on a 5-reel, 4 row machine that offers 1,024 ways to win. Create winners by landing 3, 4 or 5 matching symbols on adjacent reels, starting from reel 1. After a winner is created, the successful symbols are removed from the game grid and new ones drop in and replace them. A new payout consideration follows. Land a new winner and another avalanche of symbols follows. The avalanches keep on coming until there’s one where no new winner lands.
You can play Jelly Slice at bet levels f between 10p and £100 per spin. Use the up and down arrows next to the spin button to adjust your stake. The autoplay function lets you run up to 1,000 autospins. You can also set win and loss stop limits. To activate turbo spin mode, head to the settings. Neither autoplay nor turbo spins are available to players in the United Kingdom.
The Jelly Slice RTP is 96.24% in most cases, which is above the average figure seen at slot sites in the UK. There are also versions with lower 94.32%, 93.20% and 88.28%. Find the return to player rate by clicking on the info button and then looking below the paytable.
The game has a hit rate of 25.10% so on average, you’ll land a winner on around a quarter of spins.
This isn’t as high variance as some slots. On a scale of 1 to 5, I’d put the Jelly Slice volatility at 3 which offers a balance of payouts. The most you can potentially win from a single spin here is 10,000 x stake.
Theme: head to the jelly factory
Theme: Jelly
High-Value Symbol: Red Jelly
Compatibility: Mobile, Tablet, Desktop
Pastel shades of pink and blue dominate the colour palette in Jelly Slice. The setting is some kind of strange jelly factory. Watching over proceedings is a pink-haired worker with a clipboard. Symbols drop onto the game grid via a series of chutes above the reels. You’ll see lower value A to 10 symbols in a selection of pastel shades alongside 5 higher paying jelly-style creatures. The best of these is the red jelly which pays 10 x stake if you land 5 in combination.
The rainbow star is the wild. This can appear on all 5 reels and substitutes for all the standard symbols in a winning combination. Land 5 wilds in a line for an award equal to 20 x stake.
Rounding out the symbols is the FS scatter. Land 5 or more of these on the same to activate the Razor-Sharp bonus.
There’s an almost Japanese, manga-style quality to the visuals in Jelly Slice which is very nicely done. The rather gentle soundtrack fits the theme and there’s a satisfying pop when each avalanche takes place.
It might be a bit too cutesy for some tastes but there’s no denying this is a well-constructed slot as far as design goes.
Here’s what the paytable delivers:

K | 3, 4 or 5 = 0.2, 0.5 or 1 x stake |
A | 3, 4 or 5 = 0.2, 0.5 or 1 x stake |

Jelly Slice Mobile
Developed using HTML5 technology, Jelly Slice is available to play on mobile and tablet as well as desktop and laptop computers. It looks really good on the smaller screen, but I found it a bit trickier to follow when the Slicer (which I’ll look at next) is active. This is a slot I prefer playing on a bigger screen.
Jelly Slice Bonus Features
Hacksaw Gaming has added a couple of notable extras to Jelly Slice. As well as the free spins, there’s also the Slicer Mechanic which can massively increase the number of ways to form a winning combo.
Slicer Mechanic
On any spin, the Slicer Mechanic can activate on each reel. Any symbol that goes through the Slicer is snipped into 2, 3 or 4 symbols. This in turn, impacts on the number of ways to win. The more symbols, the more winning chances. For example, say the A symbol goes through and active 4 slicer. It turns into 4 A symbols.
Razor Sharp feature
This free spin feature triggers by landing 5 or more FS scatters on the same spin. 5 sounds like a lot but remember, the Slicer is your friend and a single FS scatter can quickly turn into 2, 3 or 4 symbols. One free spin is awarded for each FS scatter. So 5 scatters triggers 5 free spins, 6 triggers 6 and so on, up to a maximum of 20.
During the bonus round, the Slicer Mechanic activates more often than in the base game. You can add more free spins to your total too. Land 1, 2, 3 or 4 FS scatters to add another 1, 2, 3 or 4 free spins to your tally.
Bonus Buy feature
In some territories, players can pay and buy a feature. There are 3 options:
Option | Description | Cost | RTP |
Bonushunt Feature Spins | 5 x more likely to trigger a bonus feature | 3 x bet | 96.39% |
Slicer Feature Spins | Guarantees that at least 1 Slicer | 20 x bet | 96.33% |
Razor Sharp Bonus | Triggers the Free Spins feature | 100 x bet | 96.37% |
Jelly Slice Verdict: an uncomplicated slot
At first glance, Jelly Slice looks like a pretty standard sugary-themed slot. The Slicer Mechanic offers something a bit different though and certainly adds an extra layer to the gameplay. I managed to land the Razor-Sharp Bonus regularly, enjoying some decidedly mixed results.
The Slicer Mechanic is the key ingredient in Jelly Slice. A good run of avalanches with the Slicer active on multiple reels can deliver some terrific action.
The theme might be a bit too cute for some tastes, but Jelly Slice can deliver some pretty sweet gameplay if the Slicer does its stuff.
If you like the sugary theme, have a look at Wildies or the explosive Sweet Bonanza, both of which are powered by Pragmatic Play.
