The design in Rise of the Empress is superb – a sweeping panorama of a river and mountains forms the backdrop to the reels. Those reels include A to 9 playing cards as well as higher value peasant, student, warrior and empress symbols. They are all extremely detailed and very well drawn. Most rewarding is the empress – land 3, 4 or 5 and you’ll pocket 5, 20 or 50 times your total stake.
The golden dragon is the wild – it can hit on reels 2, 3, 4 or 5 and substitutes for all symbols apart from the scatter. The pair of fish is the scatter – this can land on reels 1, 3 and 5 only. As we mentioned in the intro, Rise of the Empress comes with a wide range of features:
