To unlock extra reels, you need to collect Key Symbols. You may also start the round with 1 or more rows unlocked if you have collected enough tokens in the upgrade meter in the base game.

You start the Tiki Tiki Spins feature with 3 spins, and only special symbols or blanks with appear on the reels. If a special symbol lands, the spin count resets to 3. Firstly, the Tiki Tiki Boom slot has a nice theme and great graphics. Though it is relatively simple compared to some other beach-themed slots we’ve reviewed, it’s clear and easy to follow. This is important as there’s plenty of bonus features to understand.

In the base game, the gameplay hinges on the Wild Boom feature. However, as this only triggers at random, it can be a little slow. Luckily, things really get going when the Tiki Tiki Spins feature starts.

This is a great respin feature with plenty of modifier symbols. Our favourites are the Adder, which rewards you with a multiplier worth up to 20x, and the Persistent Adder which adds multipliers to every spin until the feature ends. These features, paired with filling the board with special symbols, gives you your best chance at reaching those 11,000 x bet max wins.

Overall, we’re impressed with Tiki Tiki Boom. Although two of the main features aren’t available to UK players (Upsizer and Bonus Buy), there’s still enough going on to keep it exciting.
