Slots from Eyecon are rarely dazzlers when it comes to design and that’s the case with Fireworks Frenzy which is a bit of a damp squib as far as looks go. A thing of beauty it ain’t. Set against a night sky backdrop, the reels include lower value A to 9 playing cards which are done in the style of fireworks.
They’re joined by pink and blue fireworks which award up to 1,000 coins apiece as well as a yellow firework which pays up to 2,000 coins. Best of all is the rocket – land 2, 3, 4 or 5 of these on a payline and you’ll win 2, 30, 300 or 3,000 coins.
The spinning Catherine wheel symbol is the wild – it can land on reels 1, 3 and 5 only and replaces all other symbols apart from the scatter. If a winning combination includes a Catherine wheel wild, the payout is boosted by a 3x multiplier and trebled.

Visually, Fireworks Frenzy fizzles rather than explodes. The images are a little chunky and not especially sharp. Everything looks a bit muddled and the soundtrack in the base game is generic. Despite the somewhat shoddy design, Fireworks Frenzy came up trumps in the features department. There’s only one on offer but it’s a good’un thanks to the stacked wilds and multipliers.
Fireworks Frenzy won’t have you oohing and aahing at its stunning design.
