You head to the tropical waters outside Port Royale where you can benefit from free spins, wilds, sailing wilds, sticky wilds and added prizes with levelling. Visually superb, it takes place on the calm and serene tropical waters outside Port Royale – symbols on the reels include gold skull coins, silver star coins, bronze octopus coins, rogue captains (blue, green and red) as well as Anne Bonny who is the ship’s captain. You also have the 2 Wild Seas flag which replaces all symbols – more on this below.

Beginning on Level 1 (Break the Convoy), look out for the 2 Wild Seas flag anywhere on reels 2 and 4 simultaneously as this will trigger the Free Spins feature – 1 of the merchant captains on the reels is randomly selected as the opponent and replaces all other captains during the feature.

Once in, a convey of merchant wild ships cover reel 5 – the convoy sails 1 step to the left on each free spin. If a pirate ships appears on reel 5, it fires cannons at any ship on the same row – the merchant ship will then be damaged and holds it back for 1 free spin.

If you get 3 hits on a ship, it will sink and reveal the captain’s loot chest – your aim is to collect as many loot chests as possible before the next level commences. If you don’t manage to sink a ship, the feature ends when all merchant shups have spun away on reel 1.

Then you have Level 2 – Loot the Treasures. You will then get free sticky wild symbols on all locations held by captain’s loot chests. Your aim is to keep getting as many sticky wild chests as possible to collect the combined treasures.

The 3 middle reels are filled with treasure chests – if you hit these, they will open up and give you sticky wilds. They are bomb barrels on the 1st reel which are filled with gunpower – if hit, the barrel explodes and ends the feature. With more looted treasure chests and more pirate ships added to reel 5, you can get plenty of sticky wild wins.

I really, really like Wild Seas – it looks fantastic and is all about the Free Spins feature where the aim is to make it to Level 2 where the sticky wilds can really give you huge wins. Medium variance though, you can win up to 1,780 times your stake on every spin/free spin – it’s more likely you can win this amount with sticky wilds in the feature.

Overall, another superb offering from ELK Studios that is different and unique – if you like the theme, I recommend Thunderkick’s 1429 Uncharted Seas as well Novomatic’s Red Lady.
