With a gold rush theme, the Taco Brothers Derailed slot takes you back to 1892 and to the small village of Santa Maria in Mexico. It looks like the setting of The Magnificent Seven 1960 film. The story is the railroad has brought the gold rush as the trains are filled with gold and tacos.

However, the Evil Captain Diaz plans to steal the people’s gold and freedom with the 3 brothers Pepe, Paso and Pico trying to prevent this. With a dusty village setting, it has a Wild West feel graphically.

Walking Wilds feature

All Taco Brother symbols can appear as Walking Wilds. When they do, they will trigger the Walking Wilds feature and generate respins. The Walking Wild(s) shift leftwards and turn corresponding Taco Brother symbol(s) into wilds. The respins continue until all Walking Wilds have shifted off the leftmost reel (i.e. reel 1).

Walking Multiplier Wild feature

Taco Train Heist feature

The Taco Train Heist feature is triggered by landing 3 Taco Brothers bonus symbols anywhere on the reels bar reel 1. The Taco Brothers Derailed slot has some pretty big shoes to fill considering the original game was such a hit for ELK Studios. Visually, this sequel has a gold rush twist as opposed to the classic Mexican feel of the original. The graphics and animations are sharper but still feature all the characters that made the original so popular.

In terms of gameplay, there are similarities with ELK Studios staying true to the original game. With Taco Brother Walking Wilds, this game comes with Walking Wild Multipliers of 5x. This is where the bigger wins will come from.

However, the Taco Train Heist feature takes things to a whole different level as the Taco Brother Walking Wilds have random multipliers which can be huge. Just hope the Señorita works her magic and pulls the walking wild back to reel 6 for plenty of respins.

The super version, the Taco Smash N’ Grab feature offers more of the same but Captain Diaz is now a wild so cannot imprison any of the Taco Brother Walking Wilds. The key is to land plenty of Taco Brothers symbols along with their Walking Wild equivalents.
