Winning combinations are paid when clusters of 5 or more matching symbols land adjacently connected to one another, anywhere on the grid. The Stars of Orion slot is a well-designed game. It has some similarities to Cluster Slide which has a similar feel and uses a Cluster Pays mechanic.

ELK Studios also produced Cygnus which is based on the Northern constellation and sees the symbols roll after avalanches. The game also offers potential 64x multipliers, like Stars of Orion.

In Stars of Orion, there are more extras than the 2 aforementioned titles. You can also win up to 10,000 x your total stake per spin which is double that of Cygnus. It’s a decent game but it’s the multipliers coming from the Magic Meter which can propel your winning potential into orbit.

In summary, it’s a good game which will appeal to grid slot players. You just need those multipliers to work their magic and for the Super Symbols to transform plenty of symbols to fill the Magic Meter.
