The Propaganda slot is played on a 6×6 grid with a Cluster Pays mechanic. This grid slot displays 36 symbols (6 x 6 = 36) with winning combinations/clusters formed when 5 or more matching symbols appear adjacent to one another. This can be horizontally or vertically.

With a love theme, the Propaganda slot is set in the future. Propaganda, according to Wikipedia, is a form of communication that is aimed at influencing the attitude of a community toward some cause or position. The characters at this check point remind me of Baymax (from Big Hero 6) in Money Heist suits. However, the first thing you’ll notice is the intense soundtrack which could easily feature in a movie. It’s upbeat and sounds like carnage or anarchy is about to commence. You’ll hear sirens going off as you play. You can tell ELK Studios have put a lot of effort and time into the visuals and audio.

Symbols on the 6×6 grid include flowers, world globes, roses and doves which all appear in a pop art style. The higher value symbols are represented by megaphones, guns, hand grenades and bombs. The bomb is the best paying symbol with 50 x your total bet awarded for a winning cluster of 15+.

The spaceship is the standard wild symbol and substitutes for any symbol mentioned above. Other symbols include the Bonus, Super Bonus and Multiplier Wild. More information on these can be found below in the Bonus Features section.

Furthermore, Multiplier Wilds that connect multiple winning clusters are split into the respective clusters. This is called the Wild Split feature.

Wild Strike feature

The Wild Strike feature can be randomly triggered. It randomly replaces paying symbols on the grid into wilds or multiplier wilds.

Bonus Game feature

The Bonus Game feature is played when you land 3 Flag Bonus symbols anywhere on the grid. With 7 free spins/drops awarded, the multiplier won’t reset between free spins/drops. Visually superb, the Propaganda slot could easily be mistaken for a game created by Nolimit City. In fact, the theme is a little controversial as it’s based on a future clouded with uncertainty and oppression. It kind of sits between The Border and Remember Gulag (both from Nolimit City) which are based on US/Mexican immigration issues and Soviet forced labour camps respectively.

I like the way ELK Studios gives you Spaceship Wilds when a winning cluster/avalanche has landed. They can lead to Multiplier Wilds which merge, split and increase the overall multiplier to devastating effect. Filling the grid with the highest value Bomb symbol will lead to a 50 x bet win so the multiplier is needed desperately.

The Bonus Game feature is where the bigger wins will come from. This is due to the multiplier not resetting between free spins/drops. The Super version is the same but the Super Wild Strike feature applies on each free spin meaning more Multiplier Wilds on the reels.

Boasting 10,000 x bet max wins, you need to wilds and Multiplier Wilds to combine to increase the overall multiplier. This is paramount if you want to overthrow the regime and walk away with big payouts. The slightly below average 95% RTP rate can be overlooked as the gameplay is just so good in my opinion.
