The Nitropolis 3 slot starts with 6 reels, 4 rows and 4,096 ways to win. Wins are created by landing 3 or more matching symbols on consecutive reels starting from the reel 1 (the leftmost reel). Symbols can land in any position on the reels but need to be on successive reels basically.

Stakes range from 20p to £50 per spin with the max win lower than the usual £100 a spin ELK Studios offer. Theme – nitro gangs are back for a 3rd adventure

With a dystopian theme, the Nitropolis 3 slot is the 3^rd game in the series, following on Nitropolis and Nitropolis 2. The story Is that the Nitro gangs were overwhelmed by Sergeant Nitro Wolf and had no choice but to jump in their blimp and flee the city of Nitropolis. In order to live their dog eat dog lifestyle, they’ve gone south to a tropical beach with Nitropolis not too far in the distance.

There are palm trees, a deck chair, a thatched beach parasol, a lifeguard hut and toxic waste barrels. The soundtrack is upbeat but has a happier feel compared to the ones in the previous Nitropolis slots. If you like the music, the Propaganda slot soundtrack by ELK Studios is excellent. That said, it’s a little odd for a post-apocalyptic world and nothing like you’d expect to see (think I Am Legend movie starring Will Smith).

On the reels you’ll see low value A, K, Q and J royals. The medium value symbols include the Rogue Rats, Pug Thugs,  Gritty Kitty and Dirty Dawgs clan emblems. The higher value symbols are represented by the leader of the 4 clans. In order of value, you have the Rat Boss, Pug Boss, Kitty Boss and Dawg Boss. The Dawg Boss is the best paying symbol giving you 1.5, 3, 4 or 5 x your total bet for 3, 4, 5 or 6 in combination.

There is also a toxic sign and cocktail wild symbol which substitutes for all symbols except the Bonus, Super Bonus, Both Ways, Redrop and Nitro feature symbols.

Nitropolis 3 Bonus Features

The Nitropolis 3 slot has 11 bonus features. With avalanches and increasing number of rows/ways to win, there are big symbols and Nitro Reels. Avalanche feature

When you land a winning combination, the Avalanche feature comes into play. All symbol that are part of a win explode and leave space for new symbol drops. The more rows, the more ways to win with up to 262,144 ways to win possible.

Big Symbols feature

Like in Pacific Gold, all paying symbols and wilds can appear in 1×1, 2×2, 3×3 and 4×4 sizes. For example, a 4×4 Big Symbol will consist of 16 individual symbols. This is called the Big Symbols feature and increases your chances of landing a win.

Bonus Game feature

The Nitropolis 3 slot follows the same formula used by ELK Studios in the previous Nitropolis games. Offering Nitro Reels and extras like both ways pays, there’s a few new additions like Nitro Match and Nitro Upgrade.

There are some similarities with Pacific Gold as the free spins both offer up to 8 rows with 262,144 ways to win and a Safety Level feature. The difference here is that the Nitro Reels can give you more ways to win that the slots starring adventurer Kane. Saying that, Nitropolis 2 offers over 191 million ways to win as opposed to 1 million here in the 3^rd edition.

However, Nitropolis 3 offers max wins of 50,000 x your total stake per spin which makes it ELK Studios most lucrative slot to date. The 2 previous games in the games offer 10,000 x bet max wins. That’s 5 times lower than this release. Here’s a quick table to compare the 3 Nitropolis slots:

Graphically, Nitropolis 3 is softer than its predecessors and takes place on a beach as opposed to the thick of the action in the post-apocalyptic city. I think ELK Studios has added some good extras but incorporated elements from the previous game and from other titles to create a much harder hitting slot that will surely turn some heads.

I personally prefer the gameplay in Nitropolis 2 but the max win potential in the 3^rd installment is 5 times higher. For that reason alone, Nitropolis 3 is sure to become the most popular game in the series.
