With a spiritual theme, the Ashoka slot is based on the Tiger Prince’s journey with his sacred White Tiger on a fight for good, helping people and animals. Avalanche feature

This increases the number of symbols in play and therefore increases your chances of landing another Scatter Pays win. The grid fills up with new symbols. Another winning combination leads to more avalanches until no more wins are created.

Wild features

The Ashoka slot comes with a couple of wild features. Firstly, Big Wild symbols can land 2×2 or 3×3 in size meaning you’ll have 4 or 9 regular wild symbols respectively. This is known as the Big Wilds feature.

Then you have the Charged Wilds feature which is played when a Charged Wild symbol lands on the grid. It remains in play for up to 3 winning combinations and removed after the last win.

Multiplier features

In addition to various wilds, there are a couple of Multiplier symbols that can land o the grid. The Multiplier feature is triggered when the Multiplier symbol lands. It adds its value and activates the Win Multiplier when there are winning combinations in view.

Then you have the Super Multiplier feature. The Super Multiplier symbol adds its value and activates the Win Multiplier when winning combinations appear. Importantly, the Super Multiplier symbol reactivates for each Avalanche.

Free Drops Bonus feature

The Free Drops Bonus feature is activated when 3 Skull Bonus Scatter symbols land anywhere on the grid during a base game spin. 10 free spins are then awarded. Landing 2 or 3 scatters during the feature will give an extra 5 or 10 free spins respectively, with no limits. Inactive scatters become active when vertically adjacent to a winning symbol which will lead to additional free spins.

More importantly, Super Multiplier symbols remain in play between free spins. This can lead to more multipliers being applied to winning combinations.

Visually, the Ashoka slot is nicely designed and offers a different theme/concept aesthetically. The soundtrack is particularly good and the backstory is quite calming and interesting.

In terms of the gameplay, it’s actually quite simple. Avalanches lead more symbols in play which can lead to more wins. Big Wilds up to 3×3 in size help form winning combinations as to Charged Wilds which remain on the grid for up to 3 wins.

The key are the Multiplier and Super Multiplier symbols which see a Win Multiplier applied to all winning combinations. Super Multipliers will stay in play until you don’t get a winning combination. In the free spins, Super Multipliers remain for the duration of the feature which will potentially give you bigger payouts.
