Plants vs Zombies Wild Gargantuar Slot Review
Plants vs Zombies Wild Gargantuar is a progressive jackpot slot powered by Blueprint Gaming. They’ve powered the classic Zuma and now bring you the brilliant mobile game by PopCap. Plants vs Zombies (and Plants vs Zombies 2) is a popular mobile game where you use the plants given to stop the zombies eating your brains. If you love the game, you will surely love the slot version which has 5 reels and 20 paylines can be played from as little as 20p a spin.
The Plants vs Zombies slot is a progressive jackpot game but I can only find it at Sky Vegas Casino. Anyway, it has quite a few bonus features which are based on the actual game. The Wild Gargantuar is important as he will stomp on a given reel and turn it wild when he appears.
I quite like the Cherry Bomb Free Spins feature where you have richer reels. The Cherry Bomb symbol appears to change another random symbol(s) into the Cherry Bomb for bigger wins. This feature ends only when a zombie eats your brains. Also keep an eye out for the Jalapeno symbol as 3 will kill the zombies. If you uncover 5 trophies, you will trigger the progressive jackpot.
Then you have the Zombie Bonus feature which is a classic pick me style feature – pick a vase to reveal a plant for sun (which means a cash bonus). Look out for Crazy Dave as he will take to the Night Time level where you choose a tombstone for more cash bonuses. The final level is the Roof Top level where you will win the progressive jackpot if you uncover the Gold Trophy.
There is the Zen Garden Bonus feature where you simply choose a plant pot to win a multiplier (i.e. 20x is 20 times your stake). You can go again with 5 choices possible and you can decide when to collect. Lastly there is the Marigold Cash Prize feature where you choose a watering can to reveal either a flower or zombie. A flower will water the Marigold and reward you with a cash prize. You can also win the progressive jackpot here too.
If you love the Plants vs Zombies game, you will love the slot game – I personally have played it with good wins coming from the features. You are not going to win the huge amounts you can win on other slot such as WMS’ Black Knight II for example but it’s definitely entertaining. If you like slots based on popular PC games, you should also try Worms (which is also produced by Blueprint Gaming).
