Diamond Mine: Demo
The design in Diamond Mine is done cartoon style and has the feel of the wild west of America. Flanked by cactus plants and the desert, the reels are set against a mineshaft backdrop and are backed in stone. You’ll see lower value A to 9 values alongside spades and pickaxes, a lamp and a bearded miner. The diamond is the most rewarding symbol. Land 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 of these on adjacent reels and you’ll win 2, 5, 10, 25 or 50 times your stake.
They’re joined by the sticks of dynamite symbol which is the wild - it replaces everything apart from the scatter. On each spin, the number of ways to win can change. If you see the maximum 7 symbols on all 6 reels then you could be spinning on a machine that offers 117,649 ways to win! Blueprint Gaming has collaborated with Big Time Gaming to use their MegaWays game engine.
The game is played using a cascading reels game engine. After a win, the successful symbols are removed and new ones drop in and replace them. These cascades keep on coming as long as a new winner is created. Keep a special eye out for the barrels of TNT. These can transform into the same matching symbol to create a new winning combination – this is known as the Mystery Symbol feature.
The main feature here is the Free Spins Feature - it’s triggered by landing 4 or more of the sack of gold scatter on the same spin. 12 free spins are awarded for 4 scatters with 5 more free spins for each extra scatter that hits. Every time you land a cascade win during the feature, a multiplier increases by 1. You’ll see a set of single reels above the main set. Land 3 or 4 scatters here during the feature and 5 or 10 free spins will be added to your tally.
Diamond Mine Megaways is a simple but enjoyable slot. The cartoon visuals are pretty basic but work well enough with the banjo heavy backing track. You can expect plenty of action thanks to the cascading reels and MegaWays. If you like the game engine, Big Time Gaming’s Extra Chilli is a must as you can win 20,000 times your stake on every free spin!
