Diamond Mine Extra Gold Megaways looks almost identical to i’s predecessor, Diamond Mine Megaways. With a canyon in the backdrop, you’ll see rocks and cacti behind the reels. Inside the wooden reel frame are A, K, Q, J, 10 and 9 royals – you’ll also see shovels and pick axes, lanterns and the prospector.
There’s also a diamond symbol which is the most valuable – 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 in combination will reward you with 2, 5, 10, 25 or 50 times your stake. There’s also a wild symbol, the dynamite sticks, which appears on the vertical reel above the main reel set – it substitutes for all symbols to help you form wins.
Uses Big Time Gaming’s Megaways mechanic
Like all Megaways slots, Diamond Mine Extra Gold Megaways uses the popular mechanic – with 6 main reel and a vertical 1×4 reel appearing above reels 2 to 5, each of the main reels can contain between 2 and 7 symbols. The more symbols on each reel, the more Megaways.
If you had 7 symbols on each of the 6 reels, you’ll play with 117,649 ways to win. This is determined randomly on each spin. Cascading Reels feature
Every time you get a winning combination, the Cascading Reels feature kicks in – this causes a chain reaction with the winning symbols removed from the reels. This means new symbols come from above to hopefully give you another win. The cascades continue until no more winning combinations are formed.
Mystery Symbols feature
Look out for the TNT symbol which is the mystery symbol – all TNT symbols will explode and transform into the same randomly chosen symbol in the Mystery Symbols feature. The only symbol they cannot change to is a scatter – they can reveal wilds or high value diamonds though.

Medium to high variance, it’s all about whether you want to gamble for extra free spins (or gold) when you enter the Free Spins feature. Despite the original being very popular, this version offers nothing different unfortunately.
