Bar-X Safecracker MegaWays: Demo
Visually, Bar-X Safecracker MegaWays is quite simple – on a dark red background, symbols resemble those found in classic land-based slots such as A, K, Q, J, 10 and 9 card suits as well as Xs, bars, lucky red 7s and diamonds. The latter is the most rewarding symbol by far with 6 in combination giving you 50 times your stake. There’s also a wild symbol that replaces all symbols except the scatter – it appears only on the positions above reels 2, 3, 4 and 5.
You can form wins by getting matching symbols on adjacent reels starting from reel 1 – the more symbols on display per reel, the more ways to win. If you get the maximum symbols per reel (7), it will give you 117,649 MegaWays (which was created by Big Time Gaming).
Each winning combination triggers the Cascading Symbols feature – the winning symbols cause a chain reaction and are removed from the reels. They are then replaced by new symbols. This can lead to more cascades (more wins) infinitely. The game also has a Mystery Symbol – these reveal the same random symbol to give you more opportunities to win.
Bar-X Safecracker MegaWays’ main attraction is the Free Spins feature – this is played when you get 4 safe scatters on the reels. You are then presented with 8 gold safes of which you need to pick 1 – this will reveal the number of free spins you’ll play with.
Every win during the feature will trigger the Unlimited Win Multiplier feature – this means the multiplier increases by 1 after each cascade. There’s no limit to how high the multiplier can go. Furthermore, 3 or 4 scatters will give you 5 or 10 more free spins respectively – with no limits either.
Bar-X Safecracker MegaWays is quite typical of a MegaWays slot from Blueprint Gaming – the features aren’t anything we’ve not seen before. Medium to high variance, you can win up to 10,000 times your stake on every spin or free spin – the likelihood for bigger wins increases in the Free Spins feature due to the increasing multiplier.
Whilst I do like MegaWays slots, Bar-X Safecracker MegaWays offers nothing original in terms of gameplay or design – in my opinion, Blueprint Gaming should stop churning out all these MegaWays titles and focus on quality more than quantity. They should work on developing slots like Gods of Olympus MegaWays which uses the popular game engine as well as offering lots of bonus features and superb design.
