The Rasputin Megaways slot is not your typical Megaways game. Played on 6 reels, it comes with up to 1 million Megaways in the base game. Every reel will contain up to 10 symbols each. The more symbols per reel, the more ways to win, or Megaways.

Winning combinations are created when 3, 4, 5 or 6 identical symbols appear on any position on successive reels. They also need to start from reel 1 (the leftmost reel). This is typical of how Megaways slots work.

With a Russian/disco theme, the Rasputin Megaways slot is based on Grigori Rasputin, a Russian mystic and self-proclaimed holy man. He was a mystical adviser in the court of Czar Nicholas II of Russia. Rasputin had a scandalous and sinister reputation which helped. discredit the tsarist government. Then lead to overthrow the Romanov dynasty once he was assassinated.

Brilliantly designed, the Rasputin Megaways slot is on another level visually to previous BTG games. The soundtrack is particularly good and the prominence of the holy healer makes this slot really stand out.

The Rasputin Wilds feature sees Rasputin work his magic and add more symbols to the screen to give you more ways to win, up to 1 million Megaways in the base game. However, it’s all about the free spins features where you get a choice. This is just like Lil’ Devil, Wild Flower and Outlaw Megaways.

The Big & Strong free spins give you Extending Reels for up to 2,985,984 Megaways. The Ecstasy & Fire free spins gives you an increasing an unlimited win multiplier with up to 1 million Megaways. Big Time Gaming hasn’t released any information on which of the features is the most lucrative. I would suspect the win potential is the same as you can buy your way into either feature for the same cost (100 x bet in the Bonus Buy feature).

That said, I haven’t come across any Megaways slots with nearly 3 million Megaways. Offering 68,180 x bet max wins, BTG has higher paying slots but it’s compares favourably to 80% of Megaways games. The 96.68% RTP rate is also pretty high.
