Transparent reels & with WMS sounds
Visually, Vampire Desire has a vampire theme and is set with a creep castle in the background. Using the sounds found in popular land-based WMS slots, it has a nostalgic feel. Played with on 5 reels with 5 rows, the reels are transparent which adds to the horror effect.
Symbols include low value hearts, spades, clubs and diamonds as well as bowls, blue and purple monsters, skulls, castles and red roses. The latter is the most rewarding with 3, 4 or 5 giving you 0.5, 1 or 5 times your stake for 3, 4 or 5 in combination.
Mighty Reels feature
The bats symbol is the wild and appears 2-high on the 3 central reels – as well as replacing all symbols bar the scatter, it will expand to open the gates and trigger the Mighty Reels feature to give you a fully wild reel. Vamp It Up Bonus feature
The Vamp It Up Bonus feature is only playable when you play at stakes of £2 per spin or more. You then have the option to buy the feature. Lock It Link feature
The Lock It Link feature can also by activated by getting 3 or more scatters (the heart) on a horizontal line on the bottom reels (with 50 paylines). With 3 respins granted, the Hearts and held and become gold. You play on 50 individual mini reels.
You will see blue or red hearts only. When 1 lands, they lock in place and are populated with random multiplier values. If you get a group of 3 or more red or blue hearts (either vertically or horizontally next to each other), they become gold hearts. The values on gold hearts then increase.
Blue hearts that are linked will activate the upper reels with the number of remaining respins reset to 4. Any red heart symbols appearing resets your respins tally to 3. If all positions on the lower reels are linked, the upper reels come into play. This feature ends if you fill all positions with hearts or you have no more respins. Basically, you will win a cash prize (from the stake multipliers) of up to 500 times your stake.

Whilst Vampire Desire isn’t the best designed slot you’ll come across, it’s unique in terms of gameplay. Saying that, there’s no free spins feature which is a shame. The biggest wins will come from expanding the reel set to 100 paylines – fill the reels with wilds will give you 500 times your stake per spin.
