Ooh Aah Dracula Slot Review
Ooh Aah Dracula is a Barcrest powered video slot which has 5 reels and 10 paylines. Found in bookies and pubs throughout the UK, this popular slot game has a ghoulish theme and is available to play on mobile and tablet devices. Playable from 10p to £500 a spin, it has a few features that will keep you coming back for more.
There is a great Free Spins feature which is trigger by getting 3 or more Heart scatter symbols anywhere on the reels. When you get 3 o 4 Heart symbols on the reels, you will be rewarded with a bonus respin known as the Heart Attack Bonus feature on those reels which the bonus symbol didn’t appear.
The reels with no heart symbols on them spin to give you a chance to get more heart symbols to upgrade to the level of free spins. When this ends, you will progress to the first round of 15 free spins with 1 active wild symbol. If you gained 4 heart symbol, you can choose to accept the winnings from these 15 free spins or gamble them in the next round of 10 free spins – however, here you will 2 symbols which change into wilds.
Now, if you did gain 5 heart symbols, you can choose to accept the winnings from the second round of free spins or gamble them for a third and final round – here you are rewarded with just 5 free spins but 3 symbols are chosen to become wilds.
There is also a Best Strategy Meter in place which appears in the Free Spins feature where it will indicate whether you should keep your winnings or gamble. If it leans to the left, you should collect but if it leans to the right, you should continue. However, this is only a guide so you need to make your own mind up!
There is a Hi Roller feature which is a separate game offering. If chosen, it will automatically link 5 spins for a chosen higher stake. Choosing the feature will trigger the Graveyard and Super Graveyard Bonus features at the end of the Free Spins feature.
The Graveyard Bonus feature will give you a choice of 5 or 6 graves where you need to pick 1 of them to reveal how many souls have been won. These souls reveal a cash value. I must stress that the RTP (Return to Player %) is 96% in the normal game but goes up to 99% is you choose the Hi Roller feature!
I really like Ooh Aah Dracula and found it to be a medium variance slot – I like the theme and the features are quite innovative. Playing at higher stakes will obviously increase the RTP but playing at these levels in out of reach for most of us. Despite playing at lower stakes, I found the balance to be good and a game I will play quite often.
The Free Spins feature is good and I have gambled a few times to get only 5 free spins with 3 symbols acting as wilds – this did lead to a 310 times stake win though! I highly recommend Ooh Aah Dracula and also suggest you try Money Mad Martians Cosmic Cash too (also by Barcrest).
