Merry Money Slot Review

Merry Money is a 5 reel, 10 payline video slot created by Barcrest. You risk the journey deep into Sherwood Forest as you join Robin Hood as one of his merry men. Graphically good, this game can be found in arcades, pubs and bookies up and down the UK. It has 3 bonus features in total which are described below. You can play from 10p to £500 a spin.

Look out for the Pick symbol (the target) as 3 of them will trigger the Pick me Bonus feature – you need to simply choose a target symbol when in turns reveals a cash prize. However, you then have Target Bonus feature which is activated when you get 3 Bonus symbols anywhere on the reels.

Here you click on Robin Hood to fire the arrow at the target presented. Arrows landing in the yellow area will trigger the Hall of Plenty Bonus feature. You press spin to choose a door between 1 and 6 – the value of the treasure Robin Hood manages to sneak out of the rooms is your prize. The feature only ends when the sheriff wakes up and summons his guards. Last time I played, I managed to win 85 times my stake which was good.

Arrows landing in the red area triggers the Win Spins Bonus feature – first of all you enter the trail of win spins to determine how many wins spins you will receive. The number of steps up the path gives you how many spins you will receive – there’s up to 100 spins on offer. I’ve managed to get 30 before which resulted in a 200 times stake win.

As with most other Barcrest slots, the maximum you can win a 500 times your stake which is pretty good. Merry Money is no different and medium variance in my opinion. It’s quite fun and I really like the Win Spins Bonus feature which has given me wins or over 300 times my stake before. If you like Barcrest games, you should check out Thai Flower which is very popular in arcades and bookies in the UK.
