Trek into the desert in Pharaoh’s Dream, an ancient Egyptian themed slot from Bally Technologies. In terms of visuals, Pharaoh’s Dream has the look of a typical Bally slot – the images are bright and bold and include a selection of ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs and relics including the eye of Horus, scarab and ankh as well as playing card symbols from ace down to nine. The eye of Horus is the best of the standard symbols, offering payouts of 500 times your line bet if you’re lucky enough to find five in a payline.

At first glance, Pharaoh’s Dream appears to be a fairly unremarkable addition to the already packed Ancient Egyptian genre of slots. The visuals are serviceable but not spectacular and the bonus that offers just 10 free spins seems a little stingy. The big wins come with the stacked wilds though – if you’re lucky enough to hit multiple stacked wilds during the feature, the results can be truly spectacular.
The free spins bonus may not arrive that often but on the occasions it does hit it can deliver riches fit for any ancient royal – I consider it to be a medium to high variance game.
