50 Dragons Slot Review
50 Dragons is powered by Aristocrat and has 5 reels and 50 paylines. Playable from 50p a spin to £100 a spin, it has an Oriental theme featuring dragons. It’s the same game as Aristocrat’s 50 Lions slot essentially. You will see the golden dragons come to life on the reels when they form part of a winning combination.
Despite the graphics and animations not being as good as newer, more modern slots, it remains its charm and is one of the more popular slots played in land based casinos. It has a Free Games feature which can be triggered when you have a win with 3 or more INGOT symbols. These only appear on reels 1, 2 and 3 though. You will be rewarded initially with 10 free spins. You can trigger more free spins (in groups of 5) for every 3 INGOT symbols you get during the feature.
However, what makes this feature appealing is the fact that extra wild Pearl symbols and dragon symbols are added to each reel for every single free spin. This can really boost your winnings. I’ve managed to win over 200 times my stake a few times in the feature but more often than not, it’s between 20 and 30 times your stake.
I found 50 Dragons to be a medium variance game – I like the fact it has stacked Dragon symbols on the 5 reels which can really give you huge wins. You need to tread carefully though as big wins won’t come very often. The Free Games feature can be very tough to trigger but tends to give out decent returns. I also recommend the iconic Where’s The Gold which is my favourite by Aristocrat.
