The set up you’ll see in Wolfheart is a little different to what’s on offer in most slots – there are 2 reels to the left made up of 6 rows. They’re joined on the right by 2 3×3 reels sets on top of each other. That makes 8 reels in total. The 2 left reels can combine with the adjacent reel set on the right.
Symbols can appear stacked 6-high on the left reels and 3-high on the right. It all sounds a little confusing at first so a few spins in demo play are recommended to get your eye in.
Once you do, it’s all pretty straightforward – symbols on the reels include playing card suits as well as a wolf necklace, sword and scabbard, wolf, castle, standard and a princess. This medieval yarn takes a little getting used to – once you have become accustomed to the unorthodox game engine, then there’s plenty to enjoy though. The graphics aren’t especially sophisticated. In fact, they look a little clunky. The stirring soundtrack enhances the atmosphere though.
