Net Entertainment announced at ICE 2015 that they are to launch a Guns N’ Roses video slot – find out more about the announcement.
In partnership with Universal Pictures and Geffen Records, Net Entertainment will be producing a Guns N’ Roses official video slot which will be launched in the coming months. The announcement was made yesterday (Tuesday the 3rd of February) by NetEnt CEO Per Eriksson at 3pm.
ICE Totally Gaming is a conference that takes place every year in London and is the biggest exhibition in Europe where software providers exhibit and showcase their products. I was there yesterday and its divided into an online section and land based section. Software providers such as WMS, Microgaming, Playtech, IGT and Play ‘N Go are all present (amongst all others basically!).
In terms of the announcement, there was a big crowd to witness the video show by Net Entertainment but it didn’t give anything away in terms of the gameplay or the bonus features. Guns N’ Roses are a world famous rock band that have sold more than 100 million records worldwide and are known for huge hits such as Paradise City, Sweet Child of Mine, November Rain and Welcome to the Jungle.
Net Entertainment have a habit of producing branded slot games such as Aliens, South Park, South Park Reel Chaos, Scarface, Frankenstein and recently The Invisible Man. To be honest, their branded slots haven’t been the best slots they’ve produced – I prefer titles such as Piggy Riches, Victorious and Gonzo’s Quest. I hope NetEnt take some inspiration from WMS Gaming and produce something more along the line of KISS Shout It Out Loud which is higher variance (that’s what I like).
