Divine Fortune is brought to you by Net Entertainment and is a 5 reel, 20 payline progressive jackpot slot that can be played on desktop, mobile and tablet devices from 20p to £100 per spin. The game takes you back to classical ancient Greek into a world of mythical creatures, golden coins, legendary fortunes and progressive jackpots.

Visually, Divine Fortune looks fantastic – with a dark and epic feel to it, symbols on the reels include Medusa, Nemean Lion, Minotaur, Phoenix and Greek-style playing cards (A, K, Q and J). Pegasus (the white horse) is the wild symbol and substitutes for all symbols except the Free Spins and Bonus symbols.

As for bonus features, there are 4 in total. First up is Falling Wilds Re-Spins feature which is played when a wild appears on the reels – the wild then shifts down 1 position with a re-spin awarded. This feature applies in both the base game and Free Spins feature. More wild symbols will continue to give you re-spins until all wilds disappear from the reels.

Then you have the Wild on Wild feature which is available in both the base game and Free Spins feature – it’s triggered when an overlay wild lands on top of a wild. The wild then expands to take over the whole reel with a new payout consideration taking place.

Each wild symbol then shifts 1 place vertically on the reels with a free re-spin awarded – you will also get 2 overlay wilds on that reel. If 3 or more Free Spins symbols appear in the same spin as a wild, any Falling Wilds Re-Spins are played after the feature is over.

Then you have the Free Spins feature which is played when 3 or more Free Spins symbols appear anywhere in view in the base game or Falling Wilds Re-Spins feature. 3 will give you 5 free spins whilst 4 will give you 8 free spins. If you’re lucky enough to get 5, you will win 12 free spins.

Look out for wild symbols during the feature as they will automatically trigger the Wild on Wild feature giving you a fully wild reel. Remember that the Falling Wilds Re-Spins feature also applies which can give you plenty of free re-spins to boost your winning potential.

Finally, there’s a Jackpot Bonus feature which is played when 3 or more Bonus symbols (the gold coin) are collected in the base game (including the Falling Wilds Re-Spins feature). These bonus symbols are randomly place on the reels before the feature starts and has 15 independent reels which spin on their own.

Each bonus symbol can give you a win of between 10 and 200 times your stake! Furthermore, you will begin with 3 spins and the number of spins resets to 3 if a Bonus symbol lands on the reels. When the bonus symbols remaining sticky, you aim is to fill rows:

  • Fill 1 entire row with bonus symbols to win the Minor Jackpot
  • Fill 2 entire rows with bonus symbols to win the Major Jackpot
  • Fil 3 entire rows with bonus symbols to win the Mega Jackpot

There’s certainly a lot going on in Divine Fortune but it doesn’t disappoint – I found it to be a medium variance slot with good winning potential in all features. There’s up to 600 times your stake to be won in all bonus features which is decent but the big pull will obviously be the progressive jackpots.

Aesthetically, Divine Fortune looks fantastic – just hope that Lady Luck is smiling on you to bring you undiscovered riches from a forgotten world. If you like ancient Greek themed slots, Playtech’s Age of the Gods is superb and also offers you progressive jackpots.
